Why We Built This Site
Texas permits broad public access to many court dockets and case files, but Wichita County does not use one clerk or one public screen for every case. The Wichita County District Clerk keeps felony, district civil, family, juvenile, and tax records. The Wichita County Clerk handles county-court misdemeanor, probate, guardianship, and mental-health records, while justice and municipal courts keep their own dockets. The county Odyssey Portal and statewide re:SearchTX add search options, but neither replaces the correct clerk. This resource brings those official paths, case-number clues, and request steps together.
What You Will Find Here

- Court dates and settings: how to read court dates and confirm a live hearing with the assigned court
- Case lookups: how to run a case lookup through county and Texas systems
- Record requests: how court records and certified copies are requested from the proper clerk
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site with no connection to a Texas court, clerk, or government agency. Those limits matter:
- We cannot pull an official docket sheet or case file for anyone
- We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
- We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
- We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or setting listed on this site is current right now
Only the clerk of court or the trial court that heard the case can issue an official or certified copy of a docket sheet or court record. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
Search Partners
Third-party providers power search boxes on some pages. They control their results, terms, and prices. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may generate a referral fee that supports this resource. Their output is separate from the official docket, and Wichita County Court Docket does not control its scope or accuracy.
